I went to hop on the bike last night to ride home, it powered up just fine, I did not crank, just initialize the
system from the right handlebar switch.

A friend started to talk to me, so after 60 seconds or so, I powered it down.

After a few minutes, powered it up, and when I hit the start button, the dash powered off. It felt like
the bike attempted to engage the starter, but it didn't crank at all.

o_O

I waited a few seconds, and went to power the bike up again, the fan engaged for 30 seconds, and I heard
the suspension electronics initialize. The dash remained black. Start button inoperative.

This morning, I'm going to drive out to the bike and replace the battery, but could it be something else?
This is really weird behavior. We attempted to jump-start using a car battery (car turned off to avoid voltage spikes) and got the same results, but I don't 100% trust the jump cables, despite multiple attempts. We never got any kind of a "arc" while attaching the final terminal.

Help? Thoughts?

Nope! Key sensor circuit fuse. It's insane, as something must be working because bike would lock/unlock but not fully power up.

This is one for the books.
