Hello, i recently picked up a 2010 MTS and I am working to identify some of the upgrades and changes that have been made to the bike. It looks like the sprocket and chain may have been upgraded. Does anyone have a picture of the stock rear sprocket and chain they can share? Here is a picture of mine. Is there a way to tell by looking at them if the sprockets were redone with different number of teeth? TIA! Dealership did not have that info.

40 tooth is the standard

That sprocket is labelled so it is a 40T with 530 pitch. Both stock sizing. Front sprocket could be different (pull cover and count teeth 15T is stock).

That is an aftermarket Superlite rear sprocket.

Thanks, that's why I started questioning the sprocket and chain in the first place as I wasn't sure. Chain felt like an upgrade as well, but not sure on that one either. Lot's to learn!

That set up is all redone, to your benefit! For some reason my stock chain has thrived even after a sprocket change and 17K miles. Looking to go to 30K like my old bandit. No kinks so far...

Along with this redone set up, I also have the RapidEvo installed. Definitely some nice finds!
