Like has been said many times before springs and fliud change set to 120 mm from top tube, makes a new front end. I have Traxxion .85 springs $140 and 125/150 26.7 on the chart and the front end is good for up to expert racing speeds. The front end can be be made better but it will take $1000 starting point.
I replaced the rtear spring on my 08 s, knowing I'd be playing with the forks next. I'm 155lb, the front is harsh. Gonna try the 5w oil and 120mm tomorrow.
So just dropped my '08 1100s forks to my Ducati suspension tech today. I was bringing them for a simple service *fluid change*, but he talked me into adding a shim kit in the dampening stack, along with using a 7.5wt Ohlins fork oil. Says that will help me on the track by stiffening the front end.
I'm 220lb in full gear.
