Have not used it much lately, got MTS to replace it and now it just sits...

Before S1000 this was the "RACE" BMW, a Ducati 916 wanabe with high pipes, single sided swingarm and weird asymmetrical headlight, I remember watching them compete in Boxer Cup when I was at Daytona back in the early 2000's, wanted one ever since...

It is a great handling bike, however Race bike it is not, it is fast, comfortable and telelever front end is simply amazing, I've done 800 mile days on it and scraped pegs on Deals Gap (Killboy caught it in one of the photos attached) rode it to Key West (I'm not in those pics) and places between, but between all the bikes that I currently own this one does not get much use, also I am looking for something more ADV like KTM 950/990, CRF1000 Africa Twin or XT1200 Super Tenere... so this and my Multistrada are on the chopping block

This bike has Ohlins front and back ($2400) plus original shocks included
Rapid Dog bar risers ($300, but no longer available)
Lowered footpegs ($??)
Lowering link for the shock ($175, not installed)
2 solo seat cowls, one red, one 2 color, black/red
all original red plastic plus the 2 tone black/red in the photos

new-ish Pilot Road 4's and more... I can't remember everything now, but it literally has every accessory I could find, not all of them are installed.

I will remove and sell parts separately if I can't get the asking price, but only after the bike sells.

Serviced by a dealer just before 40k, new injectors and coils installed, brakes flushed, etc
at 40k I greased driveshaft splines, inspected clutch spline (it's good)
changed transmission and final drive oil, whatever else required at 40k,
work performed by me while supervised by a BMW tech, everything torqued to spec also using BMW fluids
