So I had to recently pop open the stator cover to service the water pump. While doing so I discovered my 2 wire stator wires where getting toasty at the bullet terminals. I know I should probably replace the wiring from the stator with thicker gauge, but I do not ride this bike on the street, so I do not see it as a big concern.

Anyways, I cut some cable back and spliced in some fresher 14 gauge wire with new Anderson Power Pole terminals. I'm hoping this setup could withstand the track duty I normally use the bike for.

The problem I'm having right now is determining how the 2 wires are connected to the rectifier. Do they need to be connected in a particular order? I forgot which was what. Neither are color coded so I don't know if one is a positive or negative. Or does this even matter?
