888 sp5 is almost there $$$.Based on what I have seen an 851 in the same condition would be perhaps 2/3 the price of an 888.
Now all I need is the 888 to go to about $60k* and I can sell my 851 and replace it with a V4 Speciale

Also, I didn’t have a ‘93 SPO but a ‘94 SPO LTD and it went for a fair amount over the $12k mentioned here - although had I not had that experience, I would also have thought $12k to $15k forms very nice one. I sold it after I got the SP5.
have 1 for sale have you???:nerd:
Whoa... that looks to be pretty much pristine.
I've never been a huge fan of rectangular design elements on sport bikes, e.g., the headlight on the 851/888 series. These bikes however are sofa king sexy in every other way that I really could care less. If I had the cash laying around at the moment I'd be on that like a pit bull on a poodle. It's one of those love it or hate it kind of bikes, I am of the former and remember when this bike operated by Polen and Foggy was the top. I always wanted one from then on. I found one in my back yard and even though it didn't make sense, its now mine and I don't think I would sell it, after all whats another Ducati for the hangar.
Buy It.......They are not making any more of them.
