is the current weight of my SS1000 with partial fuel (the light just came on), and without the fairing lowers (1kg for the pair, as they are CF).

Still need to take some weight off the rear, and still have OEM brake disks and spring that could stand to lose some weight.

Hey Tom, 366 lbs. is looking pretty good to me.

Do you have a fuel cell, or steel tank?

I would send the stock disc out for drilling [I have a link for it somewhere, got it from xseal, you could search his posts]

next is a custom subframe......

That's with an ETI fuel cell, but the stock seat, mirrors, and battery. Definitely some weight to be removed from the grab-rail boat-anchor. I was thinking of a titanium rear-disk and spring. Now that it's lost the weight, I qustion the need for any power-increasing engine mods! But maybe in a year or so, I'll think differently.
