Yeah someone messed up at the Ducati warehouse. I wanted the lightweight (drilled out) 14T sprocket and I got the standard (undrilled) one, even though he label on the package had the lightweight part number. I ended up just using the standard one.

Last time I bought sprockets and chain, I purchased from JCpakbikes, crappy website but awesome service. So I would look there first.

Then I would give a shot at CA-Cycleworks or motowheels.

I purchased my ultra-light, drilled, high tech Vortex 14T sprocket from Bellisimoto.

I am told that there are two types of front sprockets for Ducatis. Regardless who you order from, be sure to specify that you need the sprocket that is attached via one large nut vs. the sprocket that requires a plate and two small bolts.

is there a significant wear or performance difference between the drilled Duc unit and the aftermarket cheapies (some also drilled)? Is there a better aftermarket brand?
