I've got the brass QR fuel line fittings here to replace the plastic ones on my 1199, any suggestions on how to remove the half that sits in the fuel line? I thought about hitting it with a heat gun to see if it softened up enough to slide it out, also considering wrapping tape around the line so I can squeeze it with pliers until the plastic barbed end pops, then fishing out the broken plastic. Or just get a new fuel line? I suppose any high pressure fuel line from the parts store with correct ID will work fine?
