Hi Guys,

I know this has probably been done before, but i have not had a single swing arm before, so please bear with me, can someone show me the easy way to remove the rear wheel, as usual the manual sucks!!

this is what i do:

lift rear wheel using rear stand on sprocket side
take off clip around big ass nut
impact off big ass nut
remove wheel

takes longer to find my tools than it does to take the wheel off.

The "easy" way is going to be an impact wrench of some kind (I use an electric one), a really big socket (the 996 uses a 46mm rear socket, I think the 1198 is a larger nut,) and a way to keep the wheel from turning. Some people use the rear brake, my rear stand has a wheel stop bar I can insert against one of the spokes.

Great tool. The pin in the middle and shallow design helps prevent slipping.
