Looking for a full set of 1100s forks with triples and axle, had a line on one through flebay but missed it. Seemed like a popular swap, where are most getting parts? (yes i checked classifieds here)

Best to just go for the more desirable SP forks. Fit all 08-12 models and are overall better.

You can get lucky on the forums sometimes but they go quick so best to make your mind up quick.

Ebay, rubbersideup, motowheels, etc. carry used parts. Best to check with them as well.

Is the only difference in those and the S the DLC coating?

5mm of extra travel. I believe the internals are still manufactured by Marzzochi.

cool wasn't aware of the 5mm extra travel, do people typically raise them in the triples to compensate?

SP forks have 30mm of extra travel not 5mm and the DLC coating on the stanchions and black anodized fork tubes.

Here ya go. A little pricey possibly, I dunno. But they look nice, come with axel slider and all the needed fixins. I woudl swamp to roller bearings while I was at it if I was you.

@littlecricket had a part out thread sometime ago where his forks were sitting for a hot minute. Thankfully a buddy of mine was looking and got them in touch. The forks were going on a 1100s.
