I'm wondering if anyone has tried putting higher bars on the 1100 Evo. I do a lot of city riding and would like to get some weight off my hands when riding on bumpy streets. The Rizoma MA008 looks like a good candidate, but I'm worried about control clearance. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have an 1100EVO currently and it seems okay (however i did just order a Scott's steering damper because NYC highway roads aren't too pristine). When i had a 696 i put Rizoma black bars on it. When they arrived, i needed to take them to a metalworks shop to bore them out in order to fit my CRG Lane Splitters. I was not pleased and i could never get used to the difference in feeling/input vs. my stock. Controls barely mounted (needed to make holes to mount the modules as well). I also had risers on my 696 (stock on the 1100EVO). Try to find someone with the bars in person before you order. I wish i had.
