A non Ducati dealer in my area has a 2010 1198s with about 3500 miles on it. Completely stock, no pqss seat or rear pegs. I'd keep my passenger seat, but the pegs on mine are silver, the 1198 would take black ones so I would have to buy passenger pegs. I have 2008 1098s with Termi slip ons, ecu and filter, helibar trackstars, speedymoto pressure plate and 10 spoke cover. 12,500 miles, all service is up to date. DP CF air runners and side panels that go from under the tank to the seat. My bike has 1 year of warranty remaining, unknown on the 1198s.

I am considering adding the Nemesis traction control on my 1098, otherwise I would not probably consider "upgrading".

If I were to do it, what should I be expecting to pay? They have the 1198s for $15,400. Thanks for any input .

Just do the bazzaz or nemesis route. It'll save you a lot of time and effort not having to fuck with grubby stealerships. Not really what you were asking just my 2 cents :D

If I had to guess, they will offer you much less than you probably expect for yours, $8000 if you are lucky. They will have every reason why yours is worth so much less and their bike is worth more.

That will probably make your decision easier.

You would be better off selling your bike yourself and then offering cash ($13-13.5k) for theirs. If you are in MN the riding season is only a few more weeks realistically. The dealerships know this, and two months from now when the leaves are changing and you can see your breath some mornings, they know they will be sitting on that bike until spring if they want top dollar. By not giving them another used bike to inventory it could be desirable for them as well.
