Normally I would say go with the slip-ons & ecu, but the UK has got some seriously strict bike laws for speed, noise, and generally just existing.
You can try to have your dealer make an adjustment, or re-flash the ecu with a newer 08 map.
But I LOVE the sound of my bike opened up with the pipes!
