Hi, i have a 1098s. I have trouble at low rpm up to 4000. Is changing the front sprocket to a 14tooth a good choice, or fitting a set of clip on termis with an ECU a better solution to my problem, as at the moment it is very annoying riding the bike below 4000 rpm.
Thank you for any help!

Normally I would say go with the slip-ons & ecu, but the UK has got some seriously strict bike laws for speed, noise, and generally just existing.

You can try to have your dealer make an adjustment, or re-flash the ecu with a newer 08 map.

But I LOVE the sound of my bike opened up with the pipes!

My bike transformed after putting the termis and DP ecu in.

The fueling is soooo much better. You can actually ride the thing below 4000 rpm. No snatchiness or tentative throttle response, just smooth linear torque. Doesn't stall at stop lights either.

It is thhe best mod I've done to my bike so far.

ps, the awesome sound is just a bonus!
