Hi. Can someone please tell me what the numbers are that are stamped into head gasket on a 1098r. One is part number. There is a other one and what looks like a time. I'm hoping it is when it was manufactured and time. Thank you

Pics?
Sorry, I’m of no help. Thought it may have been a date stamp
Thank you . Yes that's what I are hopping it refers to. But can't find any info on line etc.
It looks like a time stamp but If it is then we have a problem with 160602 as 1098R's weren't manufactured in 2002. The 1098R was an 1198 motor as well

Thanks. Yep that's what I thorght on one utill I saw other one with 02. Looks like time next to it though. I'm hoping it's still a manufacturer reference number. My head gaskets were replaced at ducati service agent as I had a blowen one and bent head on other. I was charged for two new headgaskets . Bike wouldn't start after that and only did less than 20 Ks on it before seeing water in oil. Had it pulled apart and new micanic and they said gaskets were both reused and painted with copper coat. So if the number is manufacturing date reference could help prove this. Thank you for helping
