Hi All

I know I know another slipper clutch post. I have read many of them but wanted some input on mine :nerd:. So i just installed this Yoyodyne on my 1098 i did as much research as i could before hand. It seems to be working well except on takeoff i get this whine that was not there before
. Im guessing it could be some glazing or something but am not sure. I kinda guessed at stack height when i was doing everything. I put a friction disk in first then stacked them steel friction steel and ended with a steel on the pressure plate with a stack of 37.5 (it was 38.5mm when i pulled it out before the upgrade)

Mine has started to do this occasionally as well, though not to this degree, so am curious what you find out. My assumption has been that it’s in need of adjustment. Sorry I’m no help.

All Fixed!

Im not sure what fixed it as i did all of the things at once hoping it would solve the issue.

I did the Lithium Grease Trick
I sanded the steel plates with 220 grit sand paper.
I replaced the throw out bearing.
I made sure all of the plates were the same direction.
I made sure the stack was a good height
I made sure the springs were not binding on the pressure plate.
