My '07 1098 w/full termis started running really rough on acceleration,so I got the old mercury sticks out and had a look at what was going on,well the readings were way off so I shut the bike off and scewed in the by-pass screws and rechecked the readings still way off so I adjusted the balance screw clockwise till both cylinders were the same almost a full turn, then I backed out the bypass screws 3/4 a turn like the manual says and the bike no longer runs rough and is much smoother at steady throttle than before.
I know my CO it not set at an optimum without a meter but my real question is should I have the TPS reset?
I have been on the fence about buying one of the FBF VDSDS things.
