I have a 08 1098s which I bought a week ago. It was a new leftover. I notice the starter button will continue to crank the engine even after you have released it. As soon as the engine starts it seems the starter disengages/turns off as normal. Is this normal? It goes to the dealer for the 1st service this week.

Nice ride. Next time you sit down for coffee-whip out the Manual and have a read..

I like that feature, personally. My GT and 1098 both have it. Press it and forget it. If it does not start, it will stop after a bit. Then, wait a bit and press it again. GM cars had the same thing.
