1000ss cans on 2000 750 ss?

Any of you guys know if this will work? 2005 ss cans on my 2000 ss. What is the difference in between the 2003 up 800'ss/1000ss versus the 99-2002 mufflers.

They should fit. me and two buddies 1999-900ssie, 2001-750ssie, 2004-1000dsssie, as an experiment did some can swaping. they were all interchangeable!
