a good warm up is cheap insurance on duc's.i'd be looking for a receipt for belts and service work as it was due at 12,000 miles.a steady idle at 1200 to 1400 indicates its running well. while there is some ''friday'' bikes around,the 03 bikes seem basically problem free.clutch slave issues are common throughout the model range,oil cooler leaking also was a recall issue
