Hi all, I have a 2005 ST3 with an Öhlins shock from an ST4S. While inspecting the rear suspension, I found this foam packed into the shock pivots is breaking down. Can anyone suggest where I might buy replacement foam? Is it a big deal to run without it? Thanks in advance.

Good chance I'm mistaken here, but I don't believe there is supposed to be any ~foam~ in that spot. It may be decomposing rubber or silicone (or other?) material.

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone. I’ll try giving Öhlins a call tomorrow.

Well, I pulled the foam out today. Most of it was disintegrated but one came out about half intact. Öhlins hasn’t responded yet (it’s only been a day), but a buddy suggested replacing the foam with o-rings. That’s my plan going forward unless Öhlins comes through.
