History
This Ducati 1098R Superbike is the Homologated version of the championship winning World Superbike and is #70 of 450 produced of which only 150 were shipped to North America. The first Ducati with Ducati Traction Control, it also came with Titanium Rods, all Titanium Valves, Carbon fiber belly pan, Carbon Fiber Tail section and many more carbon components. The 'R' also has super rigid and lightweight sand cast cases and Ducati Performance Slipper Clutch. With nearly 200 horsepower and over 100 foot pounds of torque it is capable of reaching 0 to 60 MPH in just over 2 seconds and a has a electronically limited top speed of 186 MPH. This Ducati will be on display at the 2015 LeMay Museum Pacific Northwest Concourse d'Elegance.
