Price drop, it is negotiable depending on what extra spare parts you may or may not want. This is the most affordable running 1198S you can buy that needs nothing. Motivated to sell. Sent from Motorcycle.com Free App
  3. 2009 Ducati 1198S - Streetfighter converted

    Bikes
2009 Ducati 1198S, made into a one-off Ducati Streetfighter. Had this bike since new. Couple of years ago I laid it down and destroyed the plastics (salvaged title). Frame, forks, everything is straight and fine. But it is severely fast, and much lighter than a stock 1198S This is a very well...
  4. Has anyone used the lightweight belt rollers from Cardi?

    Tech Forum
I still have my set. I know there were production and shipment issues. But has anyone installed them and have been riding with them for a while? Noticeable performance gain? Reliability issues? Comments and reviews? I posted elsewhere but I think the other post was in the wrong place...
  5. So I am going to Pikes Peak, and can use your help!

    Chit Chat
Hey, don't worry about your concerns! Believe me, we had a very long talk just how dangerous this is. I would never do it, most my racing buds would never do it, but he wants to. And he is fast. Very fast. He's been walking along trails by his house for the last couple of months wearing an...
  6. So I am going to Pikes Peak, and can use your help!

    Chit Chat
One of my racing partners, Tomasz, has decided that he wants to race Pikes Peak on his 07 R1. We've been planning this for over 8 months. But, there is more to it. We are making a documentary movie out of it. THIS Friday, we are leaving to head out to Colorado. To help, we started a...
  7. Laguna advise, what turn should I buy tix for?

    Chit Chat
Turn 4 HILL gives you a birds eye view if nearly the entire track. That or T4 grandstands because usually they have a massive tv in front to watch Sent from Motorcycle.com Free App

    Superbikes
Not home yet, but apparently it is waiting for me at the door. Excited!! Now, a question, are these bolt ons or does the valve timing need to be checked. Wondering if i can do it myself or should i wait for my upcoming valve adj/check and have the dealer do it? In other words, will it cost a...

I ditched the smog crap, no problems. It vents into the atmosphere. Sent from Motorcycle.com Free App
  10. My Ducati 1198S Streetfighter

    Ducati Motorcycle Chat
No problem. I will take very close up pics when i get home. The headlight/dashboard was obviously the most headache to figure out, but the solution we came up with was surprisingly simple. No hacking anything! But i will post up a build post on this thread so you can all see. And hey, any...
  11. New Hyper SP or SF848?

    Ducati Motorcycle Chat
For me, SF hands down. Mileage range on Hyper much more limited. Sent from Motorcycle.com Free App
  12. My Ducati 1198S Streetfighter

    Ducati Motorcycle Chat
Wonway, no just the ecu. The battery has a cf T cover and is exposed. Doesnt look bad. But the cowl will come up to the bottom of the battery tray and the bottom of the cf belt cover on the right side. Sent from Motorcycle.com Free App
  13. My Ducati 1198S Streetfighter

    Ducati Motorcycle Chat
I will take close-up shots later today. But FlyinBulldog, yes, thats exactly why i still need a custom front lower; to hide the ecu and gyro looking hardware. Sent from Motorcycle.com Free App
  14. My Ducati 1198S Streetfighter

    Ducati Motorcycle Chat
Yeah, it's been a while. Haven't been on the boards much. Finished school, life happens. But finally back on my Ducati, as it has been way way too long. Besides the front lower, I'll probably get some Woodcraft clip-ons, maybe a 1 1/2 raise to make it a little more comfortable. Rode the bike...
  15. My Ducati 1198S Streetfighter

    Ducati Motorcycle Chat
December of 2011, I binned the 1198S in the middle of a corner. Got into a fight with a squirrel, and after winning many battles, this time he won. Truth is, this was also the first time I got into a fight with one *in the middle of a corner*. There was nothing I can do but...

  18. 1198sp with termi slip on backfires

    Superbikes
We have extremely powerful Ducati Superbikes today. But they are severely restricted from the factory in their mapping. Even with the DP ECU, that gets it near the ballbark. But you still need to map it in order to clean it up below 4500, and to clean it up and refine the map across the board...
  19. Converted

    Superbikes
Just how big of a track are you riding? Don't get me wrong...maybe you need to re-gear. But I am used to guy's on SV650's smoking liter bikes because they put the time/money into themselves and minimal in the bike. Just a thought. I agree with Bella749.
  20. 2013 848 Corse SE vs Pani 799

    Superbikes
It's not going to be a 799. It'll be bigger than an 848. That's all I can tell you. But the 848 Evo's are incredible awesome bikes, so it would be very tempting to wait until Dec 2013 to get a smoking deal on a left over Evo.
