  1. New member contemplating Hyper purchase

    Welcome and Introduction
I have a Hyperstrada 821. I think you will find the Motard style bike easier to ride that your GSX-R. The big bars and upright seating just makes it a blast to ride. I haven't ridden the 796 Motard but I did have a 796 Monster and I thought the motor was great. Good luck, I'm also in Atlanta...

  4. Anyone moved up from a scrambler to a Hypermotard?

    Scrambler
I actually have a Hyperstrada and a Full Throttle. Def 2 very different bikes. The scrambler is my first choice for fun in town and back roads, but not that great on the highway. I've done some longer rides on the Hyperstrada some even 2 up and it's exactly what I was looking for. A bike that...

    Bimota
I had a DB6 for a few years. Fantastically fun bike, seat is stiff as hell tho. Even with that I put in a few 200 mile plus days. Enjoy, looks great!

I'm bringing a Ducati powered Bimota to Cycle Gear in Roswell on Wednesday April 22nd. Any other Ducati's going? It's from 5-8. I've never been to one, but I like the people that work there.

Thanks Davy, I'm 46. It was great fun, but I don't think I'll be doing 2500 miles on the Monster in one week again :)

  16. 1200 Monster for not serious 'Touring'

    Monster
I road my Monster 796 from LA to Atlanta GA 2500 miles. Most days we did around 400+ miles. One day we did 615. The first 3 days were great riding mostly back roads. Once the trip dictated 1500 miles of highway riding my back would start hurting withing the first 100 miles. Luckily I could only...

    Bimota
Wow, just a great looking bike. The Bimota on the rear swingarm is really cool. Of course the detail Bimota puts into these bikes is incredible.
  18. Old Member first post

    Welcome and Introduction
I've been a member of the forum for a while. It's been a great resource for me. I purchased my first Ducati in February. It's a 1994 900ss/sp. After that I was hooked. I added a 2011 Monster 796 a few weeks ago. I felt like I could start giving some feedback to other members, so I needed to...
