A good friend of mine died on this bike after being hit by an impaired driver. His widow gave me what was left of the bike. The estimated impact speed of the car was 90+ MPH and the bike was doing about 60 MPH so there was not much left of it. I replaced almost everything except the electrics, most of the engine, the rear swing arm, wheel, and rear brake. The bike is a 99' model with frame and bodywork from the older series SS. Paint is tricolor with green on the right, a red stripe down the middle morphing into a number plate on the Airtech race fairing then white on the left side. The seat is a solo unit from Airtech with carbon number inserts and a stock Ducati seat pad. Frame and wheels are also painted red. This bike was featured in the Cincy' Garage Brewed Show in 2016. Pic is by my friend and great photographer, Bill DeVore.
