What motorcycles have you contemplated after owning a SF?
None of my bikes are street legal anymore, including the SFS. If I have to get a street legal bike to ride on the road, it has to be the Tuono 1100 Factory, no doubt. That V4 is just fun and reliable, also sounds awesome, canít ask for anything more

I had to come back and find this thread because I had the chance yesterday to ride the SFS and the TV4F back to back. And without a doubt the Tuono has better throttle response and more torque down low and in the mid than the Streetfighter S. Those older tounos weren't up to the SFS but the 1100 beats it significantly.
I love my streetfighter and think its an amazing machine but I have to be truthful to myself when something works better.
Right now I have 4 modern bikes that fit the naked bike category - Z900RS, Triumph ThruxtonS, SFS, and Tuono V4 Factory. And, if I could only keep one it would be the Tuono...

|Tirefriar||I donít foresee trading my SFS for any other bike, well maybe with exception for this|

Thanks Bdoggy. The main thing keeping form any Ape at all is that there is no Ape dealership in my entire province. Closet one is Calgary two provinces away! Warranty access issues would be a huge concern. Thanks for the invite to ride yours but unlikely Iíll make ECM.
Took old the 848 yesterday for the first time this year and it is as fun as it always has been. Itís a good enough number 2 bike for me now plus I canít swing the upgrade I would want for it now anyways. If I could Iíd take the risk of getting an Ape from Blackfoot.

Don't let the comments about low and midrange on the Tuono send you away. I suppose that's all a matter of perception, for me the bike has every bit of grunt down low and at the mid of the other bikes it compares to. I know I didnt like the 1000 but the 1100 factory is a very different bike. If you are at all interested I suggest you go down to the dealer and take a ride on one. If you are coming to the ECM I'll let you take mine for a spin.

When I rode a moded up SFS it was an experience I loved immediately but is was a $30,000Cdn bike at the time. It sat in the dealers show room for what seemed like years as well. I couldnít swing it at the time.
For the record after getting my 848 SF I got a super discounted new R1 Rossi edition as a second bike added Akrapovic , then traded that for a 1199 Panigale and added a full Termi system which I loved for a time and then moved that for a 2017 1200s Multistarda added full Termi.
Content for now but the Tuono intrigues me but the average light low end and mid range grunt does not excited me as much.
The discussion about the Monster 1200R is a very interesting one. It doesnít get the respect which is puzzling indeed. Pricey but sweet.
