It's not my Island, I just chose to live here back in 2006, one day I will go home.
The border (Green Line) was instigated after the war in 1974. It opened several years ago after negotiation, first to pedestrians then for vehicles. I have never been on 'the other side' for a ride but I intend to. You need to purchase insurance at the border crossing and your good to go, TBH I don't know what side of the road they drive on.

Several castles built by the Knights Templar interest me enough for me to make the effort at some point in time.
