Bar end mirrors on first gen Hyper

I’m interested to see how any of you may have replaced the stock hand guard/mirror/turn signals with bar end mirrors like CRG lane splitters. My kid accidentally broke my left side with a hard hit from a basketball and I’ve always wanted to replace them with a more custom look. Oberon is a great option but they are out of stock and no eta for shipment.

That doesn't surprise me, the stock hand guards are incredibly weak. I made the swap a few months ago, you can see some pics here.

I used...

Handguards: Acerbis Super Moto X
Mirrors: cheap $20 lane splitter knockoffs (no vibration, work great!)
Turn signals: Rage360 Turn Signals (54mm for my stock 796 forks)

All together ~$250. I tried some arrow knockoff mirrors that looked nicer physically than the round ones I installed, but the visibility was weaker and they vibrated way too much. Maybe the real deal is better.

I`m also interested. I like the stock handguards and driving without them would feel "naked". Obviously they are pretty weak (previous owner has already broken the right one). I saw pictures of mk1 Hyper with mk2 handguards. They looked nice but are still pretty expensive.

I`m replacing stock mirrors with Rizoma Dynamics. If they look ugly on Hyper I`ll to try something else. Under bar mirrors look nice, but I doubt the the view is even worse than stock or bar end mirrors. Stock mirros are pretty bad in every way. They vibrate and for some reason my left mirror vibrates like hell. Right one is better. They also look pretty ugly (IMHO).

I have some cheap handguards with integrated black indicators.

I have some Rizoma knock-offs I got for £10.

And I pop open some knock-off bar end mirrors for when I'm on the highway.

I have CRG lane splitters with Oberon bar end signals.

The Oberons can be seen from the front and rear which is pretty cool. The lane splitters actually provide a pretty decent rear view and are highly adjustable. They do interfere with the rear projection of the turn signals a bit but its not really a big deal.
