Does anyone know if there are some larger, mirrors that install easily and "stick out further" on each side? I'm using this bike to deal with Austin traffic and I'm physically too large for the provided mirrors to see around me. I'm not worried if they are dorky looking. My concern is that when I have to make a quick stop I check my mirrors to see who is right behind me so I don't get hit.
Mirror extenders may work. You would need to source a reverse threaded bolt for the right mirror.

Hey Pard & Firstascent...question for you.

When you installed your frame sliders was the OEM nut on the right side a 15mm? Also is the left side of the frame where the head of the engine bolt is kind of flat on the bottom?

I purchased the Ducato by Rizoma sliders and want to make sure they will fit before I open them. I know the suberframe is totally different but the main trellis frame looks the same to me.

Thanks!

The nut is 15mm and it is on the right side.

Not sure what you mean about the left side being flat.

Here is a picture of the OEM engine bolt assembly.

Thanks Pard! Looks the same and the left side of the bolt has an 8mm Allen head. On my frame the left side hole is round inside & flat on the bottom of the outside. Here’s a pic.

Thanks! The reverse bolt should be no problem. I read the specs on the amazon link and it looks like the bolts that hold the estender to the bars are 10MM and the threaded hole for the mirror is 8mm so I need to check bolt size on the mirrors.

Mirrors are 10mm bolts that go into 10mm threaded holes on bar clamps. These will work perfect & come with the correct bolts for your holes & correct holes for your mirrors.

Another option would be the Rizoma for Ducati Billet mirrors as the are more adjustable than your OEM mirrors & look nice but are about $150 a piece.

Here is the Rizoma with Ducati logo. You can also get it without the logo...Rizoma calls it the 4D mirror in their Universal fit series.

The FAR mirrors provide the best rearward visibility of all the options I tried so far, no pun intended.

They can be mounted with the existing handguards and signals.

The really cheap ebay bar end mirrors I tried may work for you as well, but their small size makes it hard to see behind without some effort, not great for quick target acquisition.

Actually those FAR mirrors with the OEM hanguards look like a poor fit as he has them ziptied together.
