If you don't mind,I would like an update as well because I've been wanting to get a helmet com/music system for my Goldwing. I've heard pros and cons about the Sena sound (lack of good bass) but they are very popular apparently. I was thinking of taking the easy way out by buying a Bell Helmet at the Honda dealership and they seem to push the Sena system. They will hook it up for free if you buy from them. I'm no techno geek and would want just a basic system, one with access to music and bluetooth hands free. I guess there might be an advantage if so many people are buying the Sena, that is the ability to communicate with them bike to bike.

I am working on a review of the Cardo PacTalk Bold JBL compared to the Sena 30K right now and should have some good feedback in another week or three. Did my first test this weekend of the Cardo and it did work very well.
