Doing the positive lead to solenoid and am not sure what connects to this yellow splice- There are two red wires the plug into the stock positive lead, but the Motolectric instructions also say if you're cutting wires you're doing something wrong. Anyone done this install and know what goes to this yellow connector? Also assuming that if it's not the two red wires, that this it to be run in parallel with the existing lead?
I didn't see any obvious need for the cable, so I used it to wire a separate 10G circuit for the head lights. Very worthwhile mod, even if you never ride at night. Turns the light from yellow to white, and twice as bright.
In case anyone else sees this and has the same question, I got in touch with Michael- my bike was one that actually does need some wires cut. It's the two red wires that come from the positive lead that need to be clipped and inserted into the yellow connecter.
