Are those rear tabs 'glassed' or glued in place?

If I choose a Sharkskinz or Airtech do I need a different tail light?
On the OEM tail, the tabs are bolted on with M6 bolts. I do not know if Sharkskinz or Airtech have provisions for the bolts. But I don't think you would need a new tail light.

Yeah do that - I knew exactly what I was looking for, and even (terribly) mocked up a Photoshop image - that, terrible though it was, together with my detailed description, Jason knew what I was after

The sharkskinz one (I believe from old piccies) has glassed in supports under the seat unit to take the riderīs weight & off the sidebolts. Not sure about the Airtech.
There is a thread on here detailing some of this:

Haha. I'm going to start a new build thread for my project. Almost finished the engine this weekend. Will keep you posted.

I bought the seat direct from Kämna & had it sent to me in Norway. I was getting a local paintshop to do it but then things delayed out with them & meanwhile I changed my plans & decided to get rid of weight & go for full sharkskinz.
I ordered the sharkskins to be delivered to Jason & sent the seat unit to him myself.

At the end of the day I am paying a shit load in shipping costs to get the stuff sent to me now (in current discussions as to how to do that) but I think itīs worth it for a one of a kind level of paint job - the bike is a keeper.
How do I find Jason? I found someone on Facebook Artistimo Jason LeCavalier from Wis USA...is that the same person?

Thanks again Neil66. I sent him a PM on Facebook a week ago and left a PM on here yesterday...so far no word back. Maybe you can persuade him to do it for me!
