Charcoal Cannister Plumbing

I have the fairings off my '96 900 SS/SP for repairs and paint. While off I was cleaning up the engine. In doing so I noticed the RH hose on the charcoal cannister is laying between the cylinders not attached to anything. In fact it looks like it was torn off of something, just don't know what. I can't seem to find any open lug it would attach to or the other end of the torn hose. Can anyone tell me what it should be routed to? If it's supposed to be some kind of vacuum hose, the bike had been running fine, didn't effect performance. The two on the LH side go from the intakes to the cannister, not a problem there. Thanks in advance for your help.

It sounds like it's the one that goes from the fuel tank to the canister...

My bad. The two that come from the intake manifolds go to a "Y" then to the LH side of the canister. The one from the fuel tank vent also goes to the LH side of the canister. This torn one is from the RH side of the canister.
