Saturday, I finished up the install of some RCS radial m/cs and an Ignitech ignition system. The RCS m/cs are a really nice compliment to the radial calipers I installed when I installed an Ohlins fork. The Ignitech is pretty cool. I've just started the tuning process, but off-idle roll-on is much smoother and the motor seems much more willing to rev. So far I like it.

Sunday, I went for a great ride through the foothills outside of Denver. It was an absolutely stunning day in the Rockies .

Ordered a new speedo cable. My speedometer just simply quit...I feared i would have to send it out for repair. I started at the bottom, and had this happily drop out. I think I'll re-grease the tach cable while I'm in there.

Scored a banked set of Keihin 41s and an install kit for a decent price. Other than bodywork it's pretty much the last thing I had on my wish list for this winter's downtime work.

Oh, and I've got heat in the shop now too. That was kind of a bit deal for me.

Finally got those forks reassembled after new seals, oil, springs and bushes. Also got the wheels and frame painted.

Nice forks and nice paintwork. Looks like you've shaved a few bits from the frame, as well. Custom project in the works??

Are those stock forks that have been painted, or anodized, or both? I like the color of the wheels and frame.
