I had a messed up axle pinch bolt that was threatening to strip out the hex so I replaced them all with some OEM's. Much nicer!

Also had my best ever day at the track. Hooray for me...

I think I need steering damper.
Is that the stock fairing, just cut down to 1/2? If so, that really looks good!

Cheers, yes they do look good. I got mine from Ducati Kämna, without the headlight cut-out. Unfortunately they're not the cheapest option around.

Smile New Slave Cylinder

Got tired of the heavy stock clutch actuation and the way it doesn't engage until the last bit of lever release. Replaced the slave cylinder with one from Factory Racing which I got for $47.42 via Ebay. Clutch is about 50% lighter now and engages half way out. PERFECT! I bled it with a MityVac.

A 41 tooth rear sprocket arrived today. The existing one is 38 teeth and a bit too tall for my liking. With the new sprocket I'll lose 15 kmph top speed, but that's not a problem as I rarely use that anyway.

My chain is a 96 link and hoping I don't have to add links/buy new chain, however I'm thinking I may have to.

Cheers.

Nothing too exciting for me. I think my fuel vent valve is sticking so trying this one:
Universal KTM mini 50cc fuel gas tank cap vent hose with anti-siphon valve 10936 | eBay

It just snowed yesterday so haven't gotten to try it out yet.

Timing belts

Well I did the belts this afternoon. Previous owner said they had been changed just before he bought it and he didn't ride it much but I had no idea how old they were. Turns out they were just fine and I guess I will keep them for spares now! LOL. But at least my mind is at ease and the tension is correct now (vertical cylinder was loose). I cleaned the heck out of everything and made sure the tensioner bearings were good and they are perfectly silent with no play. First time doing belts. I watched a YouTube video last night before I went to sleep because I heard that is the best way to absorb information. Must have worked! I got them on correctly first try.
