My 1998 FE!

My FE, now with 10K miles on the clock and running beautifully!

1st pic in England, Feb 06. I bought the bike Dec 05 and sheŽd just been through her 6K mile service in this photo.
2nd pic in England, June 06. Tank bag packed and ready to leave for Spain.
3rd pic in southern Spain in the mountains. Taken a few months ago.
4th pic in a picturesque marina (also in Spain) with my wife Alejandra. Our first ride together with the new pillion seat.

Happy New Year to all.
Richie.

Well, impossible to tell if you've upgraded things but judging by the aluminum swing arm and Ohlins rear I'm gonna say 1000. But very possibly and older 900. Since you're in the US, it's not a 800 or anything else with that swing arm...like I said unless you've made some serious changes. Nice exhaust work either way.

Galaxy;

I saw that you had submitted a new post to this thread, so immagine my dissapointment when it didn't include a pic of Misti.

We...uh...I could use a Misti fix,

Dave

New to us

Here's a photo of me and zvez with our 'new' steeds. Mine is a '92 900ss and his a '95 900ss/sp. Both have extra tasty bits.

Smile new ducati's

Very nice. Is that a Staintune/spaghetti on your 92?

I have to admit here, my 92 has gotten really dirty the last couple weeks, the good news, lots of backroad miles. Anza Borrego a couple times, Ortega at mid day twice this week, and twice last week too (mid-day its sort of sane), more San Diego county next week.

Need lots of play time because the week after next I go back to work. I was laid off November 30th, but get paid through April. The new job is 10 miles closer too, but I digress here.....

Nice to see other guys enjoying their bikes. Your guys' bikes look so good I almost wish mine was red also.

Good guess! It's an 03 1000ds. The exhaust is custom. The bodywork is modified from a 999 kit & the tail is from a 748 kit. The frame has been cut & a new aluminum tail section was fabricated to accomodate.

It's a Staintune can, but I don't know about the spaghetti. I assume you're referring to the header pipes. I'm new to Ducatis as I've only ridden Triumph Trophys for the past 8 years. I found the bike on eBay and was confused by it only having one exhaust, but later learned better. It has a baritone sound that is almost too loud. Chris' has geo ca moto (sp?) cans with lower decibels. Good luck with the new job.
