Just finished the my engine rebuild

Just finished the engine rebuild. I put in 11.5 to 1 pistons, adjustable cam wheels, port and polish work and dual spark plug heads. I also added the belly pan, I tri-colored it with base coat/clear coat. It runs great, I'm still dialing in the carbs, but love the upgrades.

pics don't work, looks like you used the HTML code instead of the direct link, should look like this: http://i1138.photobucket.com/albums/...a/100_3323.jpg wrap that in the IMG tags

Just ran across Randy's bike tribute on Youtube. It' pretty damn good for a home project! I just PMd him because I want to hire him to put a video together for my bikes. It's nice to see there are a few enthusiast in this board. I think we are all certified bike/car nuts on the superbike board. We'll take him under our "wing" since he doesn't feel appreciated in here.

The belly pan was on e-bay. I found it under the section for the monster. It was $50.00 + shipping and mounting kit. I made my own mounts, I will see if I can find it and post the link.

Looks Great I like the pan but if I was you I would put a long hose on that Oil Breather Filter and tuck it under your seat that way you won't get all that oil mist on that pretty motor!! imo Let me know when you Dyno it?

YouTube - TRIBUTE TO MY '95 DUCATI 900SP

Just woke up and saw this post with my morning coffee, not exactly a bad way to start my day!
Thanks for sharing, my bro just picked up the GoPro HD so I might be stealing it off his R1 to use on my Desmobabies tee-hee!
And just cos I haven't posted any pics in ages, here are a few just to keep the thread going

A pair of 750s

Hello everyone. Here are some pics of my current bikes. But before starting with these, I'd like to show you my former Ducatis :

A slightly customized 900 SS from 1993; I sold it 3 years ago with 650000 km on the clock

http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/5663/img2690bt.jpg

A cafe-racer based on a 650 Cagiva Allazzura, sold a year ago; I only made the cosmetics myself (spraying etc.) :

Now my 1989 750 Sport in F1 garb :

Purchased two years ago. It has 17' wheels conversion. Engine is stock, except for the Dell'Ortos replacing the Weber. Tuning the Dell's has meant some fiddling, but now it's ok.

And now the last one, a 750SS from 93; in fact, this is the new version of a bike that has been presented here by DME3 (see his post of December 30th).

Everything is stock except the high exhausts (which were already on the bike), the front light and the bodywork. It can be returned to its original shape is less that 2 hours work. I also made new brackets for the cans.

Compared to the 900 and the 89 750, this bike is extremely light and nimble. Everything works well, but I regret that the Mikuni's serve the engine so poorly; in a perfect world, I'd buy myself a couple of FCR 39, but they're expensive. The 750 Sport with its high-compression pistons, 73HP and Dell's is less on the soft side.

Sorry, I could'nt insert the photos instead of the links : when I try to, I can't copy the link into the box because when the box opens the toolbar is disabled.
