Hi,

DME3, really nice looking pair of bikes . Just don't put a Jap bike in there... they would probably team up on it and tear it apart

Hey. I own a Japanese bike and like it very much. I have hung out on quite a few of their forums and I have never heard a Duc, MV or Guzzi referred to as a "Dago bike"

Do you take offense to "Brit" bike as well? "Dago" is meant to be derogatory, "Jap" is not and has entered the daily motorcycling lexicon as a perfectly acceptable term. Unwind your panties about a turn and a half and get over it.

My "It" bike (that just doesn't sound right...):

Well, I respectfully disagree. If I call my British friend a Brit he will take no offense. Try calling the Japanese folks you know "Japs" and see what they think. Every time I hear some one say "Jap bike" it is a HD or European bike rider looking down their noses.

These were my 2 ducs. I traded the '01 748 for a RZ-350 which I later traded for an Aprilia Mille R. I still own my '98 900(yes 1998 VIN matches) It looks much different now. I will try to post another pic of it.

To make this clear, no pun was intended
In many ways Jap(anese) bikes are superior, so no looking down from me. Just not a fan

On topic: another pic from the garage
Look at how much lower the front is on the race bike

DME3 what type of forks do you have on the front of your track bike. They look like non inverted plunger style. If so why go that way why not put inverted? And why is it so much lower.
