The first 916's didn't have any more rocker wear than anything else.

Here's my little girl, '97 750SS. Pretty much standard other than the exhaust and the open airbox.

In the market now for a superlight seat. I'd also been toying with the idea of half fairing as well. Has a few issues with the forks of late as well, so they will need to be upgraded in the near future.

What kind of a stand is that? Is it an engine stand? The bike looks realy clean

It's an Anderson engine stand. I have one too, used it on my 999R when I removed the rear shock.

yep, its an anderson race stand. Got it when I bought the bike a lifetime ago and its been bullet proof. Really solid for when your playing with the bike, well compared to the suicide side stand anyway.

The bike only looks that clean because I had only just finished washing it when the photo was taken.

Yes, it has mounted stock 1000 DS fairings, I have started a thread to found any cheap ideas to cover this sticker.
