this is odd

i have bought a half dozen batteries over the years for two diff. duc superbikes, iv never seen this before. i bought this battery from cycle gear a while back, it was a little tight side to side(?) this is what i found when i was looking over the motor. the little tab on the left of the tray is eaten away, anyone ever experience this?

Leaking battery acid for some reason, might have an overcharging issue due to a faulty RR or just a crap sealing battery

This is what Iím thinking. High voltage will boil the battery. It happened on one of my 4-wheelers. It was charging around 16v and killing batteries.
