I'm glad you've come around Sherpa! She was two carbon air tubes from perfection...
Now about that license plate bracket...
Nope, license plate bracket stays. It's the only one I found that doesn't shake around like crazy and I like it. I also am a big fan of rear turn signals. My 998R has the LED integrated ones and so has no license plate bracket so maintains a nice race look but I can't do that on two bikes.

Did order the carbon air runners, though. Also with no turn signals.

@vanduc996 and @ProphetPVD I spent some time looking at the 996R next to the 998R and you’re right. It really needs the carbon air runners. Thanks for the nudge.

Goes without saying, but I could actually just look at the 916/996/998 all day and never get tired of it. Just a beautiful beautiful thing

Cheers

Ha. Well, I still canít answer definitively. It really depends on how you use it. I have been running the SPS on the track and itís just so right.

Hereís a bad GoPro pic from a few days ago. The best part is that people keep asking me how is it so fast. They donít remember any 916 bike being so fast. Iím telling you, these bikes have aged so well.

I actually DO get to look at one all day, and as mentioned, I've never tired of looking at it...
