Cycle Cat Installation Questions on a 999

I purchased a demo set of Cycle Cat clip ons for my 999. Complete with everything except directions. My questions:

1. If I install them tight under the top triple clamp for maximum heigh the switch blocks hit the fairing mounts.
2. If I install them lower, it seems to defeat the purpose of the riser bar conversion.
3. If I change the angle of the bars it seems similar to the stock bars.
4. About the only way they seem to work is with the bars pulled back inwards to the tank. That takes away some of the steering leverage.

Does any one have any good tips or perhaps the directions from Cycle Cat?

Thanks for the help.
