You have a 14T front ?? My 999 is geared 15/43T....and it's stone perfect. To go any less on the rear and your just not maximizing acceleration. I had a 41T rear and just moved up 2. So far it's great...easier shifting, clutching off dead stop, still loads of top end.
You'll need a specific rear sproc for the Marchesini's if they are aftermarket and not OEM. I have a like new 41T 525 AFAM rear-too bad.

They are aftermarket.

The chain belongs to my tuner, so it was just an idea to put it in. I could still go with 525 too.

About the tank. It's still unpainted, but I saw it today and gotta give credit to the painter who also fixes carbon fiber. Top notch job!

I'll take the carbon tank, carbon nose cone and my old scratched fairing and talk with the painter about the paint scheme. Should be done in the next few days. Pics to come.

Took the carbon tank and the nose cone to the painter along with fairings and other small parts. Gona get all the small scratches fixed and new laquer on top so it should look good afterwards. Next weeks mon-tue is my goal now to get the bike up and running.

For some stupid reason I never checked whether that coolant expansion tank fitted 999 or not. Apparently it's for the 916 etc models Anyway, that's up for grabs if someone is interested(dunno if it makes sense to ship it outside Europe though).

On + note the bike is getting ready

I assume you are talking about the 6 spring one?

Got news from my mech about the belt rollers. They were too tight, but he managed to get them istalled with some fiddling.

YES and I can speak of a 4 spring also. I had purchased one of those, a Ducati Corse unit, same thing that Sean Cork (a Ducati racer rep) sold on Ducati's privateer performance parts website. I bought it used from a guy in France-Kevin. It was a ramp-type/mechanical slipper, no ball bearings. The difference between the two is the ramp type engagement did not have any lever judder, much smoother.
After I had my 1038cc kit installed along with new up spec cams, porting, HC Pistals I ran into a slipping issue at high RPM. ..in fact the 4 spring IIRC is the one that comes OEM in the 999RS. I couldn't understand why it couldn't handle the HP in my 999 if this unit could withstand RS HP. I tried several spring combos, pack heights, etc....still slipped. Sold it and bought a DP 6 spring/ball bearing type slipper. I guess the 4 spring would be called a mechanical slipper, not a ramp type...irregardless the 6 spring has worked perfectly after 3 years of street use.
That said I would not buy a slipper clutch for a road going bike in hindsight. Too much maintenance, pack wear quickly, my hub ball bearing ramp anodizing is wearing thin and chipping. I just broke a spider spring....things that didn't surprise me. But IMO it's just not worth it for a street bike.
