03 999R

I would like to come up with more pictures of my 999R because I would like to show off the upgrades I installed, lol. Love the bike, bought it ten years ago, it was bone stock with 951 miles on it at that time.

Finally got the bike back together again for the millionth time and was able to get it out for a short shakedown run today. It's still an amazing machine.

It's been along time coming, but the bike now gets attention every weekend. As before, the site is active and being updated when I get round to it.

So help a brother out here ... is the 888 Strada a (sortof) combination of the older Monster rear end/suspension/rr brake with Superbike ~other stuffs~? I'm new to Ducati ownership (nah ... really?) so I'm trying to learn here.

EDIT: I looked up the 888 and now I see that the Monster was actually using the suspension, and what looks to be part of the frame's design "stolen" from the 888. Not the other way around.

Well, no matter the pedigree of your bike, it's being done with a high degree of workmanship on your part. That's certain! Really diggin' on the gun metal grey color of the frame, it's simply gorgeous and suits the aluminum pieces and engine colors quite well.

I've saved all of your pictures to my hard drive, and I've created a direct link to your project webpage....be afraid, be very afraid!

Keep on keepin on!
