My 916 SP3 Project

I thought I'd throw up some pix of my 916 SP3, as it's in-progress.

I had a stripped crank after a 2,000 ride through three countries.

Took bike down to frame and painted that red. Rebuilt engine.

I had a set of magnesium wheels. But I decided on BSTs from Motowheels.

I put on a SpeedyMoto triple and handlebars.

We used some Rizoma fluid mount hardware for the new fluid resevoirs, with clear fluid lines.

I had the OEM brake levers powercoated in smooth black. Added a Slingshot Racing head bolt but it was poorly coloured and faded within a week.

New handgrip from Ducati parts, with new throttle cable control, new OEM windscreen.

I bought a Ducabike collar for my new (used) Ohlins steering damper from Gotham parts.

Also added a Ducabike linkage (ride height adjuster) and some Ducabike frame plugs.

I had the swingarm powercoated black too and added new internals.
