Valves and Belts

I'm just home from a 4,200 mile trip, and past due on the valve and belt check. We've always done our own maintenance (BMW's, Triumph's, all manner of Jap bikes, HD Sportster, MG Jackal) and hope to give this a whirl. If I understand correctly, this is a detuned Monster 796 engine. Is there a particular how-to write up or video you all might recommend? I appreciate any advice and suggestions. Thanks

Sarah

Since my valve adjustment some time back (oh man, was that hell!) I have a slow drip from the lower front rocker cover. Replacing the o ring didn't help at all; the Scrambler Forum suggested waterproof grease on the o ring and some good raps with a rubber mallet to seat the cover, and that's definitely helped, but I still have a leak. Any other suggestions? Thanks

Sarah
