Anyone tried/has Quad Lock Phone Mount by Evotech

Looking for an iPhone holder. Dont need it for a gps.
I came across this one by Evotech

https://evotech-performance.com/coll...nav-mount-2018

Also where the heck do you guys order Evotech parts in the USA? I ended up ordering my radiator/engine guard set directly from them. It actually ended up being cheaper and with UPS Express delivery.

I've purchased several products from EP. Quality and service is outstanding. Not cheap however but they do give a 10% forum discount.
I've ordered direct as well.

yea, I have the evotech mount. i started with the quad lock, but found using my phone annoying. even with android auto, using my phone with gloves was not as easy as garmin gps. i emailed evotech and asked to buy the garmin adapter separately, which they kindly did also my phone, pixel 3 cannot handle the direct summer heat as well as the garmin.

i have also tried the iconic gps mount, because i thought the evo-tech mount was not adjustable and i thought it stuck out too far with the small pikes peak windscreen.. but.. turns out its really no different. having come from the BMW navigator VI which has an amazing screen, i thought the garmin 396 was going to be trash, but on the bike it works well and for my height 6'1" with seat in high position the evo-tech angle is perfect, so i put back the evo-tech after installing the iconic mount (for now).

its nice just having the gps always there and with ignition power and between that and the ducati bluetooth media controls, i see little need for my phone to be mounted.

also have the touratech security lock for the garmin 396. there are simpler mounts, but this mount has 3 anti-vibration spacers that work really well, which is why i went this way, but it certainly adds to the bulk of the entire setup..

@luigi666
I purchased the NaviHalter as the EP mount was not available at the time.
The EP looks really beefy. I find that the Navihalter can vibrate a bit a certain RPM.
It's not an issue however but can you comment about the vibration between both?

I did not ride long enough the iconic to comment on its vibration confidently. The evo-tech is certainly not vibration free and like i said, the touratech gps lock has 3 large anti-vibration pegs that further reduce the vibrations. I also put 4 "isolate it" anti-vibration washers between the mounting plate and the evo-tech.

The evo-tech also has a rubber piece that sits against the windscreen slider. Similarly the iconic mount came with several rubber and foam pads that go between the mount the windscreen slider.

The setup I have now, evo-tech + touratech garmin 396 lock + garmin 396 is very good given the amount of vibrations coming off a ducati to begin with (i also have the full termignoni with db killer removed). as long as I am not in full acceleration, its pretty good.

Still not has good as my R1200GS (with full akrapovic exhaust) but the GS has so much less vibrations to begin with.

RAM is great, but for a permanent mount that you want to lock and leave your gps in, RAM options are meh
