I changed both the brake and the clutch master cylinders to the Brembo RCS units. Huge improvement to braking feel, IMO, and the clutch action is much smoother. I did it because two of the stock clutch masters had failed on me and the brake had the recall out for a bad plastic piston. My dealer's assessment was that the stock Brembo parts were price engineered to the point of being (borderline) junk.
No. I'm still using the stock guards, but they had to be trimmed in a couple places for additional clearance. I can get pictures later if anyone cares. On the brake side, there's a side plate from one chain link that provides an offset mounting point for the bottom of the hand guard. That's the only hardware change that I am aware of.
Really? I learn something every day. I've got a '12 S.....and do I need to change lines due to different mounting angle?
