More 1260 questions

1) Anyone know what the three squares to the right of the gear indicator on the instrument panel are for? Owners manual doesn't mention them, and I've never seen them light up.

2) Anyone know if the DVT continuously varies the valve timing? It sure feels to me like there is a sudden monster hit of power right around 7500 rpm's. Just wondering if it is the DVT. Feels like a two stroke hitting the pipe.

Both the intake and the exhaust cams are continuously variable.

Thx for the answers. This forum is awesome.

One more: What is the function of the "Tire Calibration" procedure?
If we change tires or sprockets, does this allow the electronics (DTC, DWC,etc) to adjust for the change? If not, will changing the sprockets effect the electronics?

That's my understanding Motozen. I saw another thread either here or on the UK site where a guy changed his front sprocket and had to rerun the tire calibration.
